Arbed Ynni Mon Energy Savers

Arbed Ynni Mon was sponsored by the Isle of Anglesey County Council in April 2002 to address the problem of fuel poverty in Anglesey.  It is set up to assist in improving the energy performance of all dwellings on Anglesey and to achieve affordable warmth for all households.  Grants were obtained from the Council, the Energy Saving Trust and the Welsh Assembly Government to help with the set-up costs of the ESCO.  The Council established the company to provide a one-stop service centre for householders on Anglesey who wish to improve the energy efficiency of their homes.  The company is currently being managed on behalf of the Council under a management agreement with Thames Energy Ltd.
