Small & Medium sized Enterprises (SME’s) in the Objective 2 area of the Upper Lea Valley, (London Boroughs of Enfield, Haringey and Waltham Forest) can apply for free energy efficiency advice in renewable energy technologies from the North East London Energy Efficiency Advice Centre (NELEEAC). The project, which started in January 2005 aims to assist with the development and adaptation of new and renewable environmental technologies by SME’s.

Under the initiative, SME’s are offered:

An initial review of the environmental impact and energy efficiency of their business operations covering activities such as manufacturing, waste disposal and transportation. SME’s activities that have a significant environmental impact would be highlighted and recommendations will be made on how the adoption of renewable energy technologies and waste minimisation techniques could improve the business environmental performance.

The opportunity to find out more on the potential of renewable energy technologies such as Solar, Wind, Biomass and Micro-CHP’s.
