Small & Medium sized Enterprises
(SME’s) in the Objective 2 area of the Upper Lea Valley, (London
Boroughs of Enfield, Haringey and Waltham Forest) can apply for
free energy efficiency advice in renewable energy technologies
from the North East London Energy Efficiency Advice Centre
(NELEEAC). The project, which started in January 2005 aims to
assist with the development and adaptation of new and renewable
environmental technologies by SME’s.
Under the initiative, SME’s are
offered:
An initial review of the
environmental impact and energy efficiency of their business
operations covering activities such as manufacturing, waste
disposal and transportation. SME’s activities that have a
significant environmental impact would be highlighted and
recommendations will be made on how the adoption of renewable
energy technologies and waste minimisation techniques could
improve the business environmental performance.
The opportunity to find out more
on the potential of renewable energy technologies such as Solar,
Wind, Biomass and Micro-CHP’s.

technologies
Signposting to the Energy Saving
Trust’s (EST) approved installers / manufacturers of the
renewable energy technologies available
